Movie Review: Godzilla!

Hi Dolls!

Last night Scott (my Fiancee) and I decided to have a date night and see a movie and Scott has been waiting a while for this one and we needed to see if it would be better than the last one.
In our town the cinema offers $10 tickets so its worth going to the cinema you aren't going to have to pay an arm and a leg to get in.

We chose to go to 3D only because the 2D session was on right at the time we were eating dinner so that wouldn't have worked and I have to say it was a waste seeing it in 3D there wasn't really anything different just a little bit of dimension that is all.

So the movie starts off in 1999 as if to rub it in the faces of the last Godzilla movie to come out of Hollywood, which was based in 1998, in a suburb of Tokyo where Walter White ow I mean Joe Brody is a worker in the power plant when one day when there are so called earth tremors and the plant is destroyed he is left a widow and to raise a son but goes a little bonkers and the search for what caused the tragedy takes over his life.
Flash to the future of 2014...
There are killer radioactive monsters but who will save the day...
Well I can't tell you that then it will ruin the movie!

I quite liked this movie is wasn't too bad at all.
I'm not normally one for monster and aliens and shoot em up and save the day kind of movies but this was still a shoot em up save the day movie but not too cheesy.

The Monsters looked real unlike the last Godzilla that seemed to have a bit of lag as if it lost connection to the server.
The locations made sense not just jumping all over the world for no apparent reason.
It has a couple of good actors in it Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Ken Watanabe (Inception).
It is fast paced so there is no time that the movie dragged which is good for me because I tend to get bored really easily.
There is a little something for everybody in this movie romance, suspense, thrill and action.

And without giving everything away we all live happily ever after, cut to kissing scene!

I would have to rate it 3/5 it was a half half movie still not sure if it was great or is it was just alright.

Hope you are all having a great weekend!

Take Care Dolls and Love!
